An identity system for Figma's yearly design systems conference. Inspired by the nomenclature of design systems the visuals bring the underlying "schema" to the forefront.

The identity is driven by the underlying beauty of design systems. The graphic identity inverts the hierarchy between surface and schema - the labels, colors, iconography and grid making up the schema layer come forward while the surface layer drops back.
The graphic system needed to extend to a large variety of promotional assets.
The graphic identity took shape in subtle stage designs for the live-streamed virtual conference.
